I miss this space, need to recreate it, right now it is half-assed.
I am STILL working on the children's book, numerous re-dos of the cover and also some more for title page, ending page, etc. I cant wait for it to be done but as it drags on it is harder and harder to muster the energy to actually finish.
thinking of going to Topanga days but it's $20 to get in! sheesh!

surprisingly this has been my best seller so far. I love it! I thought it was kind of silly and fun, something I did truly for my own satisfaction. I really didn't think it would get much attention, yay!
also, I can't wait for this tonight: http://girlsnightout.sheckys.com/la/spr
just wish i had a lot of cash to blow! I have been dreaming of shopping sprees...
I'm a little tired of rail-thin, drop-dead gorgeous models and wouldn't mind seeing some "average" folk in some spreads. Especially the real artistic fantasy ones.

My jewelry is on display now in the jewelry store I am working at! I will be adding it to etsy soon and also adding more pieces! I feel so lucky to have found this job! I have learned SO much and it really feels like a family. Everyone is very supportive and open and we are all growing together.
I have also been able to play a little at what I always thought would be a dream job...window dressing!
This is the current display I designed at the store:
On another note, I am sad that Paperboat ( http://paperboatboutique.com/ ) is closing but I am sure those girls will continue doing great things. I don't know if this economy turn has hit bottom yet but I sure hope it doesn't go much further... :(

I made mac'n'cheese pancakes. I had a box of mac'n'cheese in my cupboard from an impulse buy a few weeks ago, I ended up making ot for dinner Sat. night. I was feeling lazy and my husband wasn't hungry.
I had some left overs so decided to use it in our pancakes Sunday morning. It was organic mac'n'cheese and whole wheat pancakes. Probably not as ooey gooey tasty as the ones made with cheddar cheese but delicious just the same.
soooo goood!!!!
