Dropped off the deposit on our next apartment this morning. We have > thirty days to pack everything up and move ...two blocks away. This is an upgrade though. I snuck in and took some pics of the empty space:

I got a write up on Juxtapoz.com

Wow!

I'd like to give a special thank you to my neighbors at Ad Hoc Art for tipping me off to them. I hope to have my work on their walls soon.

All right, you have the details you need. Anyone in the Los Angeles vicinity needs to hop and skip on over to Poketo on Saturday from 6 to 10. The documentary, Handmade Nation: The Rise of DIY Art, Craft and Design, is an amazing fabulous can’t-say-enough-good-stuff movie currently in post-production by Faythe Levine which will be released with a companion book published by Princeton Architectural Press and co-authored by Faythe and Cortney Heimerl which features 24 makers from all across the US. I’m getting into the dirty details because this is all so exciting, but anyone in the LA area will definitely have much much fun tomorrow if you go. So, go I say. Go. Oh! And there are gift bags. Yup, be one of the first 50 and you get free good stuff. Mark it on your calendar folks.

Press release here.
Handmade Nation website here.
Artwork to be auctioned off here.

And in case you needed another reason to go, all proceeds go towards the production cost of getting this film done. Awesome.

It just kills me the way Snyder uses comic panels as storyboards.  IT KILLS ME BECAUSE NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE HAVE CAUGHT ON TO HOW TO DO THIS.  Man oh man.  Comicon's in a week!  EEEE!
