The documentary, Handmade Nation: The Rise of DIY Art, Craft and Design, is an amazing fabulous can’t-say-enough-good-stuff movie currently in post-production by Faythe Levine which will be released with a companion book published by Princeton Architectural Press and co-authored by Faythe and Cortney Heimerl which features 24 makers from all across the US. I’m getting into the dirty details because this is all so exciting, but anyone in the LA area will definitely have much much fun tomorrow if you go. So, go I say. Go. Oh! And there are gift bags. Yup, be one of the first 50 and you get free good stuff. Mark it on your calendar folks.
